The use of an OTE Linear 256 HF & OTE Linear 128 TH wireless ultrasound probe with an extremely high density of crystals is of great interest for supporting the safety of the manoeuvres performed to position PICCs, Ports and interventional accesses.

The safety of the manoeuvre increases in that the lack of cables ensures that the wireless probe is absolutely sterile, which prevents bacterial contamination and thus infectious complications.
The quality of the bidimensional ultrasound image is excellent.

The presence of electromagnetic fields or Wi-Fi fields has no effect on data transmission. The OTE wireless ultrasound probe is light and compact, and it has a button for freezing the BD image remotely.

They interface easily with a tablet or smartphone (Apple or Android), and the dedicated app can be used to view the ultrasound signal, store images and send them by e-mail.
